My mom was able to buy a bundle of vegetables and a dozen organic eggs for a good price because we were one of the last minute customers. Unfortunately, the weather was growing so bad that they have to pack up early.
|Packing up early because of the incoming storm.|
I hope I'll be able to return soon when the weather's more favorable. For the meantime, check out this blog post by ingrid on her more fun (and drier) experience in this Sunday Market!
Current organic personal care stuff I love.
|It says "Hey Gorgeous!"|
Probably the only downside is that this foundation is not as "sturdy" as other mineral make-ups in the market because of its all-natural ingredients. So be careful how you handle HN mineral make-up!
I'm waiting for Human Nature to come up with their line of liquid foundation, concealer, eyeliner and mascara. They already have blush, eyeshadows, lipstick, lip gloss, and lip balms. Check out their mineral make-up HERE.
And OMG GUYS.
I was instantly HOOKED on their Vanilla moisturizing shampoo (wasn't able to grab a conditioner but I sniffed a tester bottle at the head branch and it smells OHMYFRIGGINGODTERRIFIC). If you love Vanilla, this is the shampoo for you. Try not to eat it though. :D
As for the Natural Purifying Facial Scrub (it has real strawberry seeds guys), it smells heavenly and at the same time you can immediately feel the improvement on your skin. It's gentle on your skin but effective at softening the stubborn whiteheads and blackheads. The label says to use 2-3 times a week but LOL I ABUSE IT by using it almost everyday. I need to stock up on it soon.
Then we have the Nourishing Face Toner. Majority of toners in the market are usually alcohol-based but not HN toners. This toner has tomato extract and is for people with normal or sensitive skin. My face is oily but I tried it anyway and hallelujah it cleans your skin to the pores! Smells great too.
The only downside once you've started using organic and natural products, other personal care products in the market smell like laundry detergent, alcohol, or chemical-ish.
